Base Coat Marker Base

BASE MARKER: Rubber Base in a new marker format with a thinner formula. A modern format for flawless technique!

Rubber Base is a clear, universal base of liquid consistency, designed as an underlayer for hard materials and coloured bases.

Marker features:

• Precision of application: controlled amount of product for even application.
• Economy: rational use of the product without excessive consumption.
• Speed of work: natural movements, similar to holding a pen, for fast application.

Base features:

• Liquid consistency (has a thinner formula than the standard LUNAmoon Rubber Base).
• Has an acidity of 3–4 pH.
• May cause a sensation of warmth and stinging on damaged and very thin nails (not on healthy ones).
• Designed as an underlayer for hard materials and coloured bases.
• Lamp power for curing the base — 36–48 W. The lamp must be original.
• 100% adhesion when the correct application technique is followed.
• Removes perfectly both by filing and with liquid remover.
• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral smell.

Application method:

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after levelling.
3. File with a 220-grit file without strong pressure on top of the nail, lifting the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform the manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash your hands with soap afterwards.
6. Dehydrate the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, wrap a wipe around it and wipe everything in the cuticle area and side folds.
7. Apply Ultrabond LUNAmoon (optional). Before applying, it is important to wipe the brush with a lint-free wipe to remove excess material. Apply Ultrabond to 5 fingers with a half-dry brush. Wait 1 minute for it to absorb into the nail plate.
8. Underlayer with BASE MARKER Rubber Base. Apply to the nail plate and cure in the lamp for 60 seconds.
9. We recommend not removing the tacky layer from the base, as it helps to chemically bond with the next layers of the coating (gel, colour, base). Removing the tacky layer weakens the chemical adhesion and creates a risk of lifting.
10. Coat and level with any material for convenience: coloured base or building gel. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
11. File the shape after levelling. This is needed so that thickness forms at the edge of the nail to hold the free edge.
12. If the nail was thin, it may curl, so be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the inside. In this case there will be no lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail itself will start to separate from the hard material at the free edge.
13. After filing, remove the tacky layer and coat with a thin layer of gel polish or a camouflage base.
14. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. After curing, do not wipe with anything, as this may cause loss of shine.

Ingredients INCI: Acrylates Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Butyl Acetate, Microcrystalline Wax

Important: do not leave the marker open. Close the cap tightly after use. Avoid exposing the product to UV/LED light. Store in a dark place, away from direct sunlight.

Shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for no more than 12 months.
